One of our clients, a prominent e-liquid manufacturer, requires labels for their 10ml e-liquid bottles that not only meet regulatory requirements but also stand out in a competitive market. The labels need to include detailed product information without cluttering the bottle’s appearance.
We provide single ply peel & reveal labels, a sophisticated solution offering dual-layer information. The labels are printed in full colour (CMYK) on the face and a single black colour on the adhesive side. With 90% adhesive kill on the back, these labels can be peeled up to reveal additional information and then resealed without being fully removed. This functionality ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining an elegant presentation.
1. Material and Finish:
• Printed on white polypropylene (PP) for durability.
• A matte overlaminate enhances the premium feel and protects the print.
• Spot gloss varnish is applied to the logo elements, creating a striking contrast and highlighting the brand identity.
2. Printing Process:
• The adhesive side is printed on a flexo press, allowing for efficient and rapid production.
• The face of the labels is printed using our state-of-the-art Screen Truepress Jet L350UV SAI S digital press, known for its high productivity and exceptional colour accuracy.
• The labels are cut and embellished on one of our top of the line ABG Digicon 3 converting machines.
3. Efficiency and Cost-Effectiveness:
• By printing the adhesive layer ahead of time and storing the material in bulk rolls, we streamline the process and significantly reduce lead times.
• This bulk handling approach also enables cost savings, which we pass on to our customer, ensuring they receive the best price without compromising on quality.
4. Compliance:
• The labels include a tactile warning triangle as required by the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) regulations, ensuring safety and compliance with legal standards.
• The adhesive layer is home to the required regulatory information that would otherwise not fit on a label this size.
