Our client required a premium black label for their innovative product—a sustainable rum derived from sugar beet molasses. They sought a sophisticated label featuring two shades of black: a matte base with glossy black print details. Additionally, they requested the inclusion of subtle light blue and white text elements for branding purposes.
To meet these specifications, we utilised our advanced digital printing technology. We began with a gloss white polypropylene base layer, ensuring durability and vibrant print quality. This was followed by a matte over-laminate to achieve the desired matte black finish. For the glossy black elements, we employed a spot gloss varnish technique, creating a striking contrast against the matte background. The light blue and white text elements were digitally printed to enhance the overall design.
The final result was a refined label that perfectly complemented the premium nature of the sugar beet spirit. This project showcases our ability to deliver bespoke solutions that meet specific client requirements while maintaining the highest standards of print quality and value for money.
